Mouser and Amazon Carry the latest generation in the board series - I see it used a bit when people are in discussion or Demoing The Internet of things and the future possibilities of device level connectivity in untapped product markets. The Launch name is Dash and Dot..but I feel like I’m in the know for being there from the near beginning for pre-orders... I was able to purchase one of these sets a number of months ago, it just arrived right in December in the company’s updated ship time line - Startups can slip schedules like everyone else . :) It’s a lot larger than I thought but kids are loving it so far..
Unity3D is a commercial quality game engine with a superb amount of internal and 3rd party assets for usage in your hobby, professional or as I like to say Pro-Am creationsThere are several licensing options but the personal edition is free for usage and only has a minor Made with Unity Splash screen. I have been messing around with the engine and assets for a few months - and love the power and flexibility of the scripting and asset integration. Recommend for all my newbie devs out there as well as AAA studios. Just in 2016, I have seen at least 3 major Gamedev competition winners use this as a foundation engine. I think it will yield great game designs from smaller shops. Also take a look at Amazon’s Free AAA Engine - Lumberyard - which integrates cloud commerce and community via Amazon Web Services
